From the Garden
There’s a big part of my life that I haven’t been great about documenting on this blog, and that’s cooking. I think because I don’t have a stunning kitchen and the recipes I make aren’t mind-blowing, I’ve decided that there’s no reason to share any of that on here. But I’ve had a change of heart. Cooking and making fun cocktails is something that I love to do and I’m going to begin sharing those recipes on Grown-up Shoes.
So much of what we make is inspired by our CSA box with JBG Organics in Austin, so many of our recipes are reflected by what’s in season right now but can easily be adapted wherever you are based on what’s available and tasty in your neck of the woods. Putting together some posts now on improving your workday lunches, easy quiches and tasty seasonal cocktails. Stay tuned for more + have a happy week!
