A favorite calendar for sure. Chelsea and I typeset a sweet phrase in a favorite new font and put it on top of one of Chelsea’s gorgeous photos from a recent trip to Marfa. What do you think? Will this month’s calendar make it’s way onto your desktop?

Can you believe it’s been a year since we posted our first calendar? This month’s calendar features two simple photos from my past month: sitting swans and shiny gold flats. Thanks to the lovely Chelsea for putting this together.

Hello, sweet reader! Don’t you love this calendar that Chelsea made us for March? With the onset of spring, the phrase “longer days and warmer nights” felt like a natural fit to us for the text. And the photo! It’s so vibrant and colorful—reminds me of an Easter egg hunt : ) Hoping you’ve got something fun planned this weekend!

Happy Friday, darling reader! It’s been another fun and busy week over here in Grown-up Shoes world and I’m excited to show you what I’ve been working on as the weeks unfold. On Wednesday night, Chelsea and I got together and shot this cake that I made with this beautiful vintage cake stand from Loot—have you seen their new website? It’s gorgeous! Hello my sweets! Welcome back from a long and wonderful break. Was yours fruitful and merry? Mine was delightful except for those five days that I was sick in bed {AHEM!}, but I recovered almost fully by New Year’s Eve so all was well. I’d love to tell you a bit about this month’s calendar!

Totally in love with the latest beauty that Chelsea has created. We wanted something sparkly to represent the festivity of the season, but I’m glad to see we didn’t have to compromise an ounce of style to do so. She shot this in Atlanta when she was up there for the Feet First + Blogshop class. Fun!
